Wendy has a Bachelors of Science Degree from Bridgewater State College where she majored in Biology and minored in Chemistry. Her Masters in Acupuncture was obtained from The University of Bridgeport, CT. She is licensed in Connecticut and Rhode Island to practice acupuncture.
Besides the many benefits acupuncture has to offer to patients dealing with mental, emotional and physical disorders, she has a special interest in treating people with chronic disease such as cancer, Fibromyalgia, Crohn’s Disease, and other auto immune diseases along with treating patients for the side effects that conventional medications produce. Her interest in helping patients with these diseases started during her previous career which involved performing immune therapy procedures to treat cancer patients both at Dana Farber Cancer Institute in Boston and Yale New Haven Hospital.
She has been a 3rd Degree Reiki Practitioner for 15 years and is now studying the Tong Ren acupuncture technique for those who are uncomfortable with having acupuncture needles used during their treatments.
